About Jennifer

Jennifer Locke is a native Edmontonian who founded River Rock Law after graduating from the University of Alberta Faculty of Law in 2011 and being called to the Alberta Bar in 2012. Before law school she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with distinction in 2005 and worked in the personnel departments of drilling companies in Nisku, Alberta. Wills and estates became her area of focus partly because of her own family's experience: during law school her mother was diagnosed with early-onset dementia, and years later she helped her family through her father's estate administration after his death. She runs River Rock Law as a mobile practice, meeting clients at their home or office, by phone, or by video call, and aims to explain legal concepts in plain language.
