About Jonathan

Jonathan Paterson's practice focuses on civil litigation and labour and employment law, and he has represented clients at all levels of court in Manitoba and before various administrative tribunals. He was called to the Manitoba Bar in 2020 after obtaining his Juris Doctor at the University of British Columbia, where he received the B Vincent Reed QC Award, the David Roberts Prize in Legal Writing, and the Blake Cassels & Graydon Prize in Labour Law. Jonathan sits on the board of the Lake Winnipeg Foundation, and in 2024 he and colleagues Evan Edwards and Kaisha Thompson received the Manitoba Bar Association Pro Bono Award for public interest legal services.
