Jonathan (Jon) Marin practises exclusively in pensions and employee benefits law, advising on legal and regulatory issues affecting provincially and federally regulated pension plans and other employee benefit plans. His work covers plan design, governance and administration, pension de-risking, plan wind-ups and compliance, as well as pension and benefit issues arising in corporate transactions such as acquisitions, divestitures, mergers and reorganizations. Jon has assisted with several conversions of registered pension plans from defined benefit to shared risk plans in New Brunswick, in both the public and private sectors, and continues to advise on the administration of shared risk plans. He was named a 2024 Lexpert Rising Star.
