John Illingworth is a partner in Mathews Dinsdale's Toronto office, where his practice centers on workers' compensation, occupational health and safety, and labour relations. He works with employers on building safe workplaces, including drug and alcohol testing protocols and workplace investigations, and he defends companies and supervisors facing OHS charges. His experience covers workers' compensation appeals, cost transfer applications, and right of action claims. He's appeared before courts at every level and represented clients at workers' compensation boards, coroner's inquests, labour relations boards, grievance arbitrations, and human rights tribunals across Canada.
