About Carole
Carole McAfee Wallace is a partner who represents domestic and international trucking and bus companies on transportation matters, including regulatory compliance, defence of provincial offences, contract drafting and commercial litigation. She also practises employment law, advising federally and provincially regulated employers on compliance with employment standards, human rights issues such as the duty to accommodate, and occupational health and safety, including workplace harassment complaints. Carole drafts employment contracts, independent contractor agreements and workplace policies, and assists with termination packages and defending wrongful dismissal and human rights claims. She appears before the Ontario Court of Justice, the Superior Court, the Court of Appeal and various tribunals, including the Ontario Labour Relations Board and the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal. She earned her LLB from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1992 and a BA from the University of Toronto in 1983, and was called to the Ontario bar in 1994. Carole is a past president of the Canadian Transport Lawyers Association.
