John Aziz is an associate at Davies who is building a broad corporate practice, working on public and private acquisitions and mergers, securities offerings, financing deals, corporate governance issues, and other corporate assignments. Representative work includes advising Agnico Eagle Mines on several acquisitions and strategic alliances, including its purchase of Aurion Resources and Rupert Resources and its earn-in agreement with Cascadia Minerals. John has also assisted Aecon Group on acquisitions in its utilities business, Hydrostor on energy storage financing, and other clients across mining, energy, and infrastructure sectors.
