About Shanna
Shanna Mittleman is an associate who graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Ottawa in 2006 and was called to the Ontario bar in 2007. Before law school she studied International Development Studies at the University of Guelph and spent a year living and studying in France, and she later completed a Master of Arts in International Affairs at Carleton University in 2009. She is proficient in French. Shanna articled and worked as an associate at a boutique plaintiff personal injury firm in Toronto before joining Aaron Waxman & Associates in October 2008. Her practice focuses on car accident claims, traumatic brain injury claims, slip and fall claims, and long-term and short-term disability claims, along with employment matters. She has conducted mediations and arbitrations at the Financial Services Commission of Ontario and appeared before the Superior Courts of Justice and other tribunals.
