About Christopher

Chris is a partner whose practice centers on Canadian and cross-border tax planning for investment funds, financial institutions, pension funds and mining companies, as well as high-net-worth individuals like professional athletes and entertainers. He advises on public and private M&A, reorganizations, debt restructurings, insolvency matters, equity compensation plans and spinoffs, and represents taxpayers in disputes with the CRA and provincial tax authorities. Chris co-authored the textbook Canadian Taxation of Trusts and sits on the firm's Talent Management Committee. He also volunteers with UNITY, a group that uses arts-based programming to support youth development.
