About Joe

Joe Fingerote is an associate at MLT Aikins LLP practising in Winnipeg and Vancouver, focusing on trusts, estates and legacy planning, corporate and commercial law, and taxation. He was called to the bar in Saskatchewan and British Columbia in 2018 and to the Manitoba bar in 2024. Before switching careers, Fingerote earned a Bachelor of Music in performance from the University of Manitoba in 1997 and a Master of Music in sound recording from McGill University's Faculty of Music in 1998, and remains active as a producer for classical music ensembles and choirs. He earned his J.D. from the University of Saskatchewan's College of Law in 2017 and serves as a sessional instructor there. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association's British Columbia Wills & Trusts section.
