About Jessica

Jessica Lyle, TEP, focuses her practice on estate and trust planning. She joined Sealy Cornish Coulthard in 2015 and has lived in Dartmouth since 2001, the year she was called to the Bar; she is a Dalhousie Law School graduate who previously spent nearly seven years as a Senior Will & Estate Planner with Scotia Private Client Group in Halifax. Her work includes trusts for individuals and estates, general tax implications, and elder law and guardianship issues, including incapacity planning. Jessica is a member of the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society, the Canadian Bar Association, the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners, the Halifax Estate Planning Council, and the Canadian Tax Foundation, and is ranked in the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory. She is a past president of both the CBA Nova Scotia Branch and the Halifax Estate Planning Council, and speaks frequently on estate planning topics.
