About Jessica

Jessica Babineau focuses her practice on estate planning, estate administration and trusts, primarily out of Waterstone's Langley office while also assisting clients in Abbotsford and Chilliwack. She has experience with complications that can arise in estate planning, including family law considerations, blended families, beneficiaries with disabilities, and business and farm succession. In her administration practice, she advises personal representatives, trustees and beneficiaries on representative grant applications, complex asset structures, and passings of accounts. Before joining Waterstone, she was an estate planning consultant for a national wealth management firm and practised estates and trusts law in the Vancouver office of a large international firm. Babineau earned a BA from the University of the Fraser Valley in 2012 and a JD from the University of Calgary in 2015, and was called to the bars of both Alberta and British Columbia in 2016.
