About Jeremy

Jeremy Herbert's practice covers personal tax planning, corporate reorganizations, and mergers and acquisitions, with particular interest in tax-effective employee stock option plans for private corporations. He graduated from the University of Alberta in 2004 with a combined LL.B/MBA and clerked at the Federal Court of Appeal before practising at a national law firm in Calgary and joining Felesky Flynn in 2007. He was managing partner for Edmonton, Saskatoon and Toronto from 2015 to 2022, and is a sessional instructor at the University of Alberta teaching the Intro to Taxation and Corporate Tax courses. He was called to the Alberta bar in 2006 and the Saskatchewan bar in 2015, and chairs the board of the YMCA of Northern Alberta.
