About Jeremy

Jeremy Dacks concentrates on insolvency and restructuring disputes, appearing often as lead litigation counsel before the Ontario Superior Court's Commercial List, the Ontario Court of Appeal and other Canadian courts in matters under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act and the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act. His cross-border case work has included acting for debtor companies, monitors, receivers, trustees, boards, secured creditors and buyers of distressed assets. He also runs a broader corporate and commercial litigation practice touching commercial contracts, professional negligence, product liability and class proceedings. Lexpert magazine named him a Rising Star in 2010, and he sits on the Commercial List Users' Committee's Model Order Sub-committee. He holds an LLB from Osgoode Hall Law School and a BA from McGill University.
