About Jennifer

Jennifer is an associate at Wishart Law Firm specializing in management-side labour and employment law. She advises employers on grievance arbitrations, workplace investigations, human rights and accommodation, occupational health and safety, wrongful dismissals, employment standards, collective bargaining, and labour disputes, and regularly advises on regulatory compliance and contract drafting for small and mid-sized organizations across Ontario. She has appeared before labour arbitrators, the Ontario Labour Relations Board, the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal, and the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. Jennifer earned her Juris Doctor from Queen's University, where she received the Queen's Law Prize in Collective Agreement Arbitration and in Land Transactions, along with a scholarship in Legal Ethics. Before law school she completed a Master of Industrial Relations through Queen's University and a Bachelor's degree in Management and Organizational Studies at the University of Western Ontario. She previously worked in the labour and employment department of a Sudbury-based law firm before returning to her home community of Sault Ste. Marie to join Wishart.
