About Matthew

Matthew first joined Wishart Law Firm in 2015 as a co-op student and stayed on as an administrative assistant while completing his Honours Bachelor of Administration, specializing in Accounting, from Algoma University in 2020. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor, with a specialization in Aboriginal and Indigenous Law, from Lakehead University in 2023, where he served as Vice President of Finance for the Lakehead Law Students' Society and was a Dean's Fellow in his second and third years. Matthew is also a part-time faculty member at Algoma University. He now practices as an associate lawyer, focusing on real estate and development law, corporate and business law, and civil litigation.
