About Suzanne
Suzanne Lopez Allicock practices employment, labour, and human rights law, representing both employers and employees. She graduated with distinction from the University of Toronto with a BA in History in 1989 and earned her LLB from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1992, where she won the top prize in labour law, before being called to the Ontario bar in 1994. She began her career at a prominent Toronto union-side labour and employment firm, appearing before arbitration and disciplinary tribunals and the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, and drafting facta for judicial review applications at the Divisional Court and Court of Appeal. In 1997 she was called to the bar in Jamaica, gaining the ability to practice across 14 English-speaking Caribbean countries, and she went on to practice intellectual property and employment law there until 2002. After a period away from practice to support her family, she resumed her career in 2020 as a sole practitioner focusing on employment, commercial, and business law.
