About Jen
Jen Winstanley's practice centers on complex class action litigation and mass tort matters, particularly cases alleging systemic negligence, product liability, and breaches of Charter rights. Jen Winstanley began at CFM Lawyers in 2010 as an articling student, moved into an associate role, and was later made partner. Jen has appeared for clients at the superior and appellate court level in British Columbia, Alberta, and Ontario, at the superior court level in Saskatchewan and Quebec, and before the Supreme Court of Canada. Prior to CFM, Jen worked with non-governmental organizations in Thailand, Cambodia, and South Africa, focusing on community legal education and refugee asylum matters. She completed her undergraduate studies in international relations and comparative politics at Columbia University, went on to study law at the University of British Columbia, and while at CFM finished a Master's in Public International Law at the University of London. She was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2011.
