About Jean-Rémi

Jean-Rémi Thibault is a founding partner and co-president of Forseti. With 35 years of experience, he specializes in civil and commercial litigation, particularly construction and real estate matters. He earned his law degree from Université de Montréal in 1989 and was admitted to the Barreau du Québec in November 1990. His practice covers construction law, contractual relations, shareholder disputes, real estate and condominium issues, and tort liability and fraud. He is active in the Canadian Bar Association's Construction and Dispute Prevention and Resolution sections, holds arbitrator accreditation with the Institut de médiation et d'arbitrage du Québec (IMAQ), served on the Barreau du Québec's Arbitration Committee from 2014 to 2021, and continues as a member of its Discipline Council.
