About David
David L. Cameron holds a B.A. from York University's Glendon College (1979) and a law degree from McGill University (1983), where he studied both civil and common law. He was called to the Barreau du Québec in 1984 and practised litigation in construction, insurance and commercial law for 24 years before being appointed a Quebec Superior Court judge in 2008, where he served in the civil chamber and the administrative and appellate division. He joined Forseti in 2025 as counsel to continue arbitration and mediation practice. His expertise centres on mediation and arbitration, construction disputes, insurance claims, shareholder litigation, and contractual disputes. He teaches civil procedure and evidence at McGill Law and participates in international arbitration centres including CEPANI and the Turkic Arbitration Association.
