About Jean
Jean Munn, K.C. practices exclusively in immigration and employment law, handling deportation matters, refugee law, family applications and permanent residence, and has appeared before all immigration tribunals, the Federal Court and Federal Court of Appeal, as well as all levels of Alberta courts. She is a former member of the Alberta Human Rights Commission and now advises both employers and employees on workplace discrimination matters. She is fluent in Spanish and serves Spanish-speaking clients. A fourth-generation Calgarian, she completed her undergraduate and law degrees at the University of Calgary, articled with the Alberta Court of Appeal, and was called to the bar in 1989 before opening her own independent practice. She joined Caron & Partners in January 1997, became a partner in 2003, and was appointed Queen's Counsel in 2016.
