About Dean

Dean Hutchison leads the firm's Litigation Practice Group and has more than 20 years of experience advising on insolvency, restructuring, and commercial disputes, including receiverships, foreclosures, bankruptcies, proposals to creditors, forbearance agreements, and matters under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act and the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act. He also advises on banking and commercial lending matters for both lenders and borrowers, and his litigation practice includes shareholder disputes, landlord and tenant matters, contractual disputes, creditor-debtor issues, and real property disputes. He resolves matters through negotiation, mediation, arbitration and judicial dispute resolution as well as the courts, and has appeared before courts in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and British Columbia.
