About Janet
Janet Whitehead founded Whitehead Law & Mediation, now part of the Drake Law Group, and retired in 2026 after more than 30 years of practice in London and Sarnia/Lambton. She received her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Western Ontario in 1991 and was called to the bar in 1993. In 2016 she narrowed her family law practice to matters resolved through mediation or negotiation rather than litigation, and she is a certified mediator through the Ontario Association of Family Mediators. Whitehead is a former chair of the County & District Law Presidents' Association, a past president of the Lambton Law Association, and a past president of the Breast Cancer Society of Canada.
