About Eyad

Eyad Shhap is an associate lawyer at Drake Law practicing family law. He practiced family law in Syria for seven years before relocating to Canada, where he earned an LL.M. in Canadian common law from Osgoode Hall Law School, holding an earlier LL.B. from Damascus University and a diploma in business management from Oxford College. He completed the Law Practice Program at Toronto Metropolitan University and obtained an NCA Certificate of Qualification before being called to the Ontario bar in 2025. He is fluent in English and Arabic and is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Middlesex Law Association, the Middlesex Family Law Association, the Canadian Bar Association and the Ontario Bar Association.
