About Jamie
Jamie MacGillivray founded MacGillivray Law in 1994 and has practiced exclusively in personal injury and insurance law since 1999. He holds an LL.B. from the University of New Brunswick and a B.A. from Dalhousie University. He has appeared in numerous reported decisions in the CanLII case law database and has been recognized by peers as a Lexpert-ranked lawyer in personal injury litigation. He is a member of the Atlantic Provinces Trial Lawyers Association, the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, and the Canadian Environmental Law Association. He was called to the bar in Nova Scotia in 1994, in Newfoundland and Labrador in 2019, and in New Brunswick in 2022, and he lives in Stellarton, Nova Scotia.
