About Jamie

Jamie Eddy, KC is a partner in Cox & Palmer's Fredericton office and the New Brunswick chair of the firm's Employment and Labour Group. Jamie was called to the New Brunswick bar in 1993 after earning a law degree at the University of New Brunswick and a Bachelor of Arts at Mount Allison University, and holds the designation of King's Counsel. Jamie has extensive experience in labour, employment and human rights law in both the municipal and private sectors, including union certification applications, labour injunctions, grievance arbitrations, collective bargaining, occupational health and safety, and wrongful dismissal actions, and has appeared before the Canada Industrial Relations Board, the New Brunswick Labour and Employment Board, the New Brunswick Court of King's Bench and the New Brunswick Court of Appeal. Jamie is recognized in the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory and by Best Lawyers in Canada as a leading employment and labour practitioner, and previously served as Managing Partner of the Fredericton office.
