About James
James Bennett is the head of Rogerson Law Group's family law team, based in the firm's Barrie office. His practice covers divorce applications, complex property division, child and spousal support, parenting arrangements, alternative dispute resolution, and family court litigation. Clients have praised his ability to guide them with confidence and compassion through sensitive situations. Before joining Rogerson Law Group, he practiced family law in Brampton, Oshawa, and Thunder Bay. James pursued an honours degree combining Political Science and the Philosophy of Law at Glendon College, along with a certificate focused on Law and Social Thought, before completing his Juris Doctor, and he also edited two issues of his university's law journal as its managing editor. Outside the office, he is a husband and father who once played guitar and bass at well-known Toronto music venues.
