About Arika

Arika Sohail practices family law at Rogerson Law Group, which she joined in August 2022 after working at a family and civil law firm following her 2021 call to the bar. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto, majoring in biology, chemistry, and sociology, and earned her Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School, where she volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada's Family Law Project and assisted Duty Counsel on matters involving decision-making responsibility and support. She completed the Law Practice Program at Toronto Metropolitan University, gaining training in negotiation, dispute resolution, and trial advocacy. She sits on the executive committees of the Women's Law Association of Ontario and the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers.
