About J.R.A.
Judy Payne has extensive experience across pension, health, privacy, telemarketing, anti-spam, corporate/commercial, and litigation matters. She was called to the Manitoba Bar in 1988 and to the Alberta Bar in 1993, and worked as in-house counsel for twelve years before joining Pitblado in 1999. She was recognized for Franchise Law in the 2019 and 2020 editions of The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory. Judy has presented on Canada's Anti-Spam Law and on pension matters to groups including the Manitoba Bar Association and the Law Society of Manitoba. She holds an LL.B. from the University of Manitoba, earned in 1987.
