About Jakarta

Jakarta Mackie is developing a broad civil litigation practice at Peacock, Linder, Halt & Mack LLP. She joined the firm after serving as law clerk to the Honourable Justice Azmudeh of the Federal Court from 2024 to 2025, assisting with administrative, immigration, and commercial matters, and previously articled with Alberta Justice in civil, criminal prosecution, and surrogate court matters. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta in 2023 and participated in several moot competitions including the Laskin, MacIntyre Cup, and Sopinka Cup. She is fluent in French.
