About Joyce

Joyce Bolton maintains a general civil litigation practice covering complex corporate commercial matters, shareholder disputes, oil and gas and construction claims, and estates and trusts litigation, and regularly acts as defence counsel in professional negligence and personal injury matters. She has appeared in Provincial Court and the Court of King's Bench in both Alberta and British Columbia, previously worked as a municipal prosecutor for the City of Calgary, and has acted as co-counsel before the Alberta Court of Appeal. Her cases have included setting aside worldwide Mareva injunctions and a multi-billion-dollar dispute involving allegations under the Corruption of Foreign Public Officials Act.
