Tom Hamer helps clients through difficult times, with a practice centered on estate administration and the preparation of wills and powers of attorney for property and personal care. In his probate work he guides clients through the process efficiently and advises on estate planning techniques meant to keep administration as tax-efficient and expedient as possible. Tom was admitted to the practice of law in Ontario in 1979 and belongs to the Law Society of Ontario, the Toronto Lawyers' Association, and the Canadian Bar Association-Ontario Branch. In 2010 he was appointed a Dispute Resolution Officer in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Family Court, in Oshawa, a role he held for ten years. He has also served on the board of Collaborative Practice Durham Region and as a past president of the Ontario Association of Collaborative Professionals.
