About Gawain
Gawain Chan is counsel in Osler's Corporate group, where he practices corporate and securities law. He advises clients on cross-border securities offerings, both public and private, along with matters involving investment funds and other alternative investment structures. He also counsels Canadian and international clients on dealer, adviser, and investment fund manager registration issues and applications for exemptive relief. Gawain advises on compliance with rules set by the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada and by Canadian exchanges, including the Toronto Stock Exchange, TSX Venture Exchange, and Bourse de Montreal.
