About Hovsep

Hovsep Afarian represents policyholders in complex insurance disputes, drawing on more than 20 years of experience with claims involving crime bonds, errors and omissions policies, directors and officers policies, commercial general liability, property, life, marine, and environmental liability coverage. He also handles cyber insurance claims and has worked on some of the largest insurance disputes in Canadian history, from reviewing policy language before inception through to litigating claims at all levels of court across Canada. He is a Fellow of the American College of Coverage Counsel. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2002 after earning his LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School, where he received the Hallett Scholarship, and a B.A. summa cum laude from York University in 1997.
