About Herman

Herman Turkstra graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School after undergraduate work at McMaster University and Calvin College. He has practised municipal planning, environmental law, and farm products marketing law before a variety of boards, tribunals, and courts, including the Supreme Court of Canada. He served as an elected member of Hamilton's Board of Control and as president of the Hamilton Law Association, and is currently authorized to practise in Quebec for interprovincial agricultural marketing litigation.
