About Jennifer
Jennifer is a partner and a Law Society of Ontario Certified Specialist in Family Law who has practised exclusively in this area throughout her career. She takes a practical, common-sense approach to both negotiation and litigation when helping clients work through the corporate, tax, and tort issues that can come with a relationship breakdown. She was called to the bar in 2005 after completing an Hons. B.A., an M.A., and an LL.B. at Osgoode Hall. She articled with the Family Responsibility Office and later worked at a family law boutique before joining Hughes & Bale LLP in 2013, becoming a partner the following year. Jennifer has served as a Children's Lawyer and as a Dispute Resolution Officer for Hamilton Family Court, and has held roles with the Hamilton Law Association, the Family Law Bench and Bar Committee, and Ontario's Family Rules Committee.
