About Heba

Heba Eid joined Emond Harnden as an associate in 2023, after two years practising constitutional and administrative law with the federal government and articling with a full-service Ottawa firm focused on criminal defence and civil litigation. She advises provincially and federally regulated employers across all areas of labour and employment law, offering services in both official languages. She received her Licence in Civil Law from the University of Ottawa, completed simultaneously with an Honours Bachelor of Social Sciences specializing in International Development and Globalization, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She also completed the Juris Doctor National Program at the University of Ottawa, where she received the Right Honourable Brian Dickson Prize, the Osgoode Society Prize for Canadian Legal History, and the Colonel Michel W. Drapeau Prize. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2023 and is a member of the Ottawa Advocacy Club.
