About Arielle

Arielle Girard joined Emond Harnden in 2025 after completing her articles with a national full-service firm in Ottawa. During law school, she worked as a research assistant at the Supreme Court of Canada and with the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Law, contributing to research on children's rights, and served as a student caseworker at the University of Ottawa Community Legal Clinic. Fully bilingual, she works mostly with clients in the education sector, providing strategic advice and representing school boards in labour and employment matters. She graduated Cum Laude from the University of Ottawa's French Common Law program in 2024, and holds an Honours Bachelor of Social Sciences specializing in International Development and Globalization, also from the University of Ottawa. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2025 and is a member of the County of Carleton Law Association, l'Association des juristes d'expression française de l'Ontario, and the Canadian Bar Association.
