About Heather
Heather Whitten is Managing Partner at Wilson Vukelich LLP, where she practises corporate and commercial law within the firm's Business Law Group. Beyond providing general corporate advice, she has deep experience negotiating and structuring transactions such as shareholder arrangements, business acquisitions and dispositions, mergers, corporate reorganizations, and strategic alliances, including partnerships and joint ventures. She has developed a sub-specialty handling shareholder and partnership disputes, and her practice also touches on e-commerce work, including trade-mark prosecution and software licensing. Heather is a registered trade-mark agent with the Canadian Intellectual Property Office and sits on Practical Law Canada's Corporate and Commercial Transactions Advisory Board. She earned her B.A. and LL.B. from the University of Windsor and an LL.M. in International Trade and Competition from Osgoode Hall Law School, and was called to the bar in 2001.
