About Heather

Heather Taskey is building a broad commercial litigation practice. Before joining the firm, she articled and worked at a national firm, concentrating on complex commercial disputes and professional liability matters, and she has appeared at every level of court in Alberta and British Columbia. She earned her J.D. at the University of Calgary, where she received the Pro Bono Students Canada Chief Justice Richard Wagner Award for her work with the Alberta Human Trafficking Task Force. She also holds an Honours B.A. in Political Science from the University of Alberta. She was called to the Alberta bar in 2023, the British Columbia bar in 2024, and the Ontario bar in 2026.
