Ankita Kapur advises on intellectual property protection, including trademarks, copyrights, patents, industrial designs, and trade secrets. A Trademark Agent, she advises on trademark registrability and prosecutes applications in Canada. On the regulatory side, she advises on marketing, advertising, contests, and promotions, including those involving social media influencers. She joined the firm as a summer student in 2014 and articled in 2015–2016.
