About Hariss
Hariss Safi is a first-year associate at Beitel Tax Law LLP, where he helps clients navigate the tax dispute process by supporting senior counsel and providing general tax advice. He earned his Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2024 and holds a Bachelor of Arts from York University. While at Osgoode he worked as a research assistant for Associate Dean Craig Scott, studying the impact of generative AI on legal education, and he later served as a teaching assistant at Toronto Metropolitan University. Before joining Beitel Tax Law, Hariss articled at a firm in midtown Toronto, focusing on international tax planning. He was called to the Ontario bar in 2025 and is scheduled to clerk at the Tax Court of Canada in 2026.
