About Guy

Guy Le Madec is originally from Saint-Boniface, Manitoba, and has practised law for over 20 years, both as a sole practitioner and with small firms. He joined Chiarelli Cramer Witteveen in early 2015 on the retirement of Ken Cramer and continues Ken's practice alongside his own clients. He obtained his law degree from l'Université de Moncton in 1988, was called to the bar in Manitoba in 1989, where he remains a non-practising member, and became a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada in 1992. His practice, initially focused on family law, has shifted over the last decade to residential real estate and wills and estates, and more recently to corporate and commercial work, including participation in public and private relocation programs. Guy is fluently bilingual and serves clients in both English and French, routinely preparing wills and powers of attorney in either language. He has taught at the Bar Admission Course and at the community college level and is a member of l'Association des juristes d'expression française de l'Ontario and the County of Carleton Law Association.
