Family LawRon Scott has provided legal services to clients since 1973 and graduated from the University of Ottawa's law school with a Bachelor of Laws. He was appointed Queen's Counsel in 1984 and received a Master of Laws in E-Business Law from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2002. His practice covers residential and commercial real estate, wills and estates, business law and family law, and he has represented major lending institutions and the Province of Ontario in financing and land-assembly transactions. He has incorporated numerous federal, provincial and not-for-profit corporations and advised on business acquisitions, sales, franchising and corporate financing. Ron has served on the Foundation Board of Queensway-Carleton Hospital and as President of the Good Companions Senior Centre board, and is a current member and past president of the Rotary Club of West-Ottawa. In 2023 he received the County of Carleton Law Association's Umbrella Award marking the 50th anniversary of his call to the bar.
