About Greg

Greg's practice covers environmental and natural resources law, construction law, and commercial litigation including insurance defence, with a focus on offshore oil and gas work. As a Fellow of the Canadian College of Construction Lawyers, he advises clients on contract drafting, RFP reviews, and dispute resolution, and has represented project owners, general contractors, and subcontractors on large infrastructure and industrial developments. His litigation and arbitration practice includes shareholder disputes, oppression remedy claims, mineral royalty disputes, and construction delay and design flaw claims. Greg earned his M.B.A. and LL.B. from Dalhousie University in 1999 and a B.Comm from Dalhousie in 1995. He was called to the bar in Newfoundland and Labrador in 2004 and in Alberta in 2000, and holds the King's Counsel designation, awarded in 2025. He serves as Practice Group Leader for Stewart McKelvey's Environmental & Natural Resources team and has been recognized by Best Lawyers and Lexpert in construction, environmental, and energy law.
