About Gordon
Gordon S. Campbell has conducted hundreds of trials and appeals across Canada, in English and French, up to the Supreme Court of Canada. He maintains a national Indigenous and Aboriginal law practice focused on litigation and negotiation, including section 35 Aboriginal and Treaty rights cases, comprehensive and specific claims, and consultation and accommodation on development projects, with several precedent-setting matters drawing national media attention. He previously served as a negotiator and portfolio manager for claims at Indian and Northern Affairs Canada and as a federal Crown prosecutor with the Department of Justice. Gordon has authored four law books and holds an LL.B. and B.C.L. from McGill University (1993) and a B.A. from the University of Toronto (1989). He was called to the Ontario Bar in 1995, after previously belonging to the British Columbia and Nova Scotia bars.
