About Giovanni
Giovanni Perri is an Associate at JSS Barristers practicing in various areas of civil litigation, with a particular focus on administrative, public, and regulatory law as well as corporate and commercial litigation and securities matters. A first-generation law graduate, he earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Western Ontario in 2023, drawing on experience as a Commercial Assistant with the U.S. Department of Commerce and with the in-house counsel team of a Calgary FinTech start-up. He has represented clients before the Court of Justice, the Court of King's Bench, the Alberta Court of Appeal, and administrative tribunals including the Sport Dispute Resolution Centre of Canada. Giovanni holds a Bachelor of Arts in Policy Studies (Honours) with minors in Economics and Political Science from Mount Royal University, and co-founded the Western Italian Students Law Society while at Western Law.
