About Georgette
Georgette Makhoul joined Hogarth Hermiston Severs LLP in 2013 and became a partner in 2021. She practises exclusively in family law, including divorce, parenting, support, property, cohabitation and marriage agreements, and adoptions, and represents clients through negotiation, mediation, litigation, and coaching. She has appeared before the Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Justice. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from Dalhousie University in 2007 and an LLB from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University in 2010, and was called to the Ontario bar in 2011. She has served on the boards of the Essex Law Association, Hiatus House, and the John Howard Society, and has been a sessional professor and guest lecturer at the University of Windsor Faculty of Law.
