About Christopher

Christopher has practiced family and child protection law in Windsor, Ontario since 2005 and previously clerked for the now-retired Honourable Justice Robert Decary of the Federal Court of Appeal. His practice centers on representing children in child protection matters and parenting disputes, and he believes strongly that a child's own wishes should be heard in cases affecting them. He sits on the personal rights panel for the Office of the Children's Lawyer and serves as an empaneled agent for the Director of the Family Responsibility Office, prosecuting delinquent support payors. Christopher represented several parents in the 2014 child protection cases involving the Lev Tahor group and was appointed amicus curiae by the Ontario Court of Justice in a separate child protection matter. He is a designated Collaborative Legal Professional trained to prepare Voice of the Child reports, and he belongs to the Ontario Collaborative Law Federation, the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (Ontario Chapter), and the Essex, Kent and Lambton Law Associations.
