George Rontiris is a partner at Emond Harnden with a broad employer-side practice, with particular emphasis on proceedings before administrative tribunals including the Ontario Labour Relations Board and the Canada Industrial Relations Board. He specializes in collective bargaining, grievance arbitrations, and other labour relations matters, and represents many transportation sector employers, including marine, air, and ground transportation clients, through complex issues such as devolution from the federal government and technological change, without labour disruptions. He also represents hotel and hospitality sector employers in collective bargaining and other labour matters. He holds an MBA from McGill University, is active with the Ottawa-Carleton Board of Trade, and is a former chair of the Federal Government Affairs Committee of the Human Resources Professionals Association of Ontario. He has taught in the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist Program and lectured in Industrial Relations at Carleton University.
