About Alexandria
Alexandria Bonney founded Bonney Law in 2024 to provide trauma-informed legal services in Ontario, focusing on employment and human rights law. Originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba, she is now based in Ottawa. She is a lawyer called to the Ontario Bar and has appeared before the Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Small Claims Court, the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal, and the Consent and Capacity Board. She teaches the Prison Law Practicum at the University of Ottawa and Prison Law in Action at Carleton University, serves on the Board of Directors for the Elizabeth Fry Society of Ottawa, and founded the not-for-profit Prisoner Legal Supports, which provides legal services to provincial prisoners in Ontario.
